Who they are. Old Salt Coffee was started by a group of Navy veterans who wanted a coffee sailors could share on watch, in the ready room or at home. It's veteran-owned, roasts to order, and partners with veteran-focused nonprofits. Its Brown Shoe Blend is named for the brown shoes naval aviators were authorized to wear.
